Welcome back! We have a free download for your classroom!

This is always an exciting time of the year.  Whether they are willing to admit it or not, students are ready to slide back into the school groove.

If not ready to learn, they are ready to reconnect with friends and teachers that they haven’t been seeing over the summer. And the students’ excitement pales in comparison to that of the parents who have been scrambling for weeks trying to fend off the boredom monster.

You, as a teacher, are undoubtedly filled with excitement and anticipation for another school year.  Faces old and new will soon light up your class room.  It’s good to be back.  The new year brings brand new opportunities to invest in the future. I am sure that you are ready to teach math and science, reading and writing, but your potential for influence goes so far beyond that.  The bigger opportunity lies in the opportunity to build deep relationships.

Ideally, three things will happen as you begin the year:

1. you will get to know your kids
2. your kids will get to know you
3. your kids will get to know each other.

Together, you will spend the year sharing and learning, laughing, crying and loving.   So, your lesson plans may be in place and ready for implementation, but how about your strategy for fostering strong relationships?  We at Rewriting Futures have a gift for you!  Click here to receive your free e-book which includes a couple of really great activities that will help you to see the relational foundation of your classroom built strong.  We love what you do, and we are so thankful for your commitment to the kids in your charge.  We want to help and encourage any way we can.

We, too, are excited for this new school year.  We’re cheering you on as you rewrite the future for your kids!
